- Thursday, November 27--No School/Thanksgiving break. School Resumes on Monday, December 1.

Shop Marian for the perfect Christmas gift! Marian's Bookstore is open each morning from 7:20 am– 7:50 am and on late-start days from 7:45 am – 8:30 am. For your holiday shopping convenience, we will also be open on the following dates and times:

Congratulations to four Marian seniors for their academic recognition from the 2009 National Merit Scholarship Program. Semifinalists include Mary Gambrel, Amanda McIntyre, Emily Mitchell and Samantha Treinen. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists, which represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest scoring entrants in each state.
Commended students include Rosemary Kelly, Alexandra Lohaus and Caitlin Toohey. Commended students place among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2009 competition. SWAT (Super Walk-A-Thon) 2008 Is Huge Success. Congratulations to Marian’s Student Board, who made this year’s Walk-A-Thon another thrilling success. Walk-A-Thon, Marian’s annual student-driven fundraiser, was held on September 24, 2008. For the first time, the student body raised $100,000 during Walk-A-Thon an astounding 141 percent of goal. Class acheivements are as follows:
Freshmen: 114 % of goal Sophomores: 124 % of goal Juniors: 156 % of goal Seniors: 161 % of goal
Congratulations to the seniors who will have first pick of theme, color and demonstration order for Field Day in May 2009.
